Choose Your Own Adventure at Pierce Country Day Camp!
Eights know what they want, and Pierce listens! Eight is when Pierce campers get more input into determining their own camp activities. Through our "Activ8" elective program and expanded choice scheduling, campers can choose preferred activities from a tremendous range of athletic and creative possibilities. Eights also enjoy weekly League Play in soccer, basketball and baseball/softball. Now swimming in our two largest pools, Eights can participate on our Pierce Sharks Swim Team and even try the high dive! Our enthusiastic Eights have so many ways to have endless summer FUN!
Tremendous range of sports, arts, and adventure activity options
Choice Scheduling—twice per day our Eights get to choose between two activities. For example, Lego Robotics or Soccer…you pick!
"Activ8” is our weekly elective program where our Eights can pick their favorite from a wide range of activities to participate in for a full afternoon
Weekly League Play in soccer, baseball/softball and basketball
Swimming in our two largest top-of-the-line pools (Indoor and Senior Pool) equipped with water slides, 1 meter and 3 meter diving boards and reaching depths of over 10 feet
Pierce Sharks Swim Team – Eights are eligible to sign up for our swim team and compete against other area camps in spirited swim meets
The Arts – Eights can now choose to participate in Pierce Idol! This optional singing competition is for Eights who want to show their talent on the big stage.
Special 8's Only Event – Each summer our 8's get to go on a special day trip or have camp all to themselves for a special night time activity! This special surprise is part of what makes being eight great.

Pierce runs a 10 day schedule cycle, so each day is different for 10 consecutive days! Below is just a sample of what one of those 10 days may look like.
Schedules will also vary based on camp wide special events, rainy days and/or excessive heat days.
